Mike October 15, 2012As a Home Inspector that provides service to Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Cedar Falls and many surrounding areas it is with great pleasure that I often meet and perform home inspections for people relocating to my service area.
One of the great things about doing home inspections for people relocating to my area is that I am a member of a local group of businesses that meets weekly called BNI. Within this group we pass referrals to one another when the opportunity presents itself, have lunch and keep our finger on the pulse of things.
The members of the group hold each other to very high business practice standards. What does all this mean? It means that I can refer my customers to these businesses and know with great confidence that they will be treated the way a customer should be treated!
How many times have you talked with someone who has moved to a new community and had to sort through all the muck to find businesses they would refer someone else to? I enjoy being able to provide suggestions based on the conversations I have with my customers during the course or our relationship.
So there you go. A home inspector can be another valuable asset to someone who is relocating to the area.
